Emma Wiggins (Director) – Hello I have grown up with dogs throughout my life, my childhood home was always full of Setters. I now have Drummer my own English Setter along with Milo my rescued Wired Haired Dachshund, I love to show Drummer whenever the opportunity arises but also enjoy our walks and runs in the countryside and water doing what dogs do just as much.
The majority of my working life has been around animals, managed a private event yard and working and looking after many types of horses for 20 years, and most recently I have gained valuable experience working in several dog day care businesses over the past 6 years.
I’m a qualified canine first aider with a level 1 grooming distinction, I have completed a dog food nutritional course with a dog food nutritionist and have recently trained in professional dog day care, receiving Covid-19 safer pet care training & certification.
Steph Berry (Director) – Hello I have loved dogs all my life especially collies. I have two lilac border collies Rievaulx and Cedar whom do a host of sports including agility flyball hoopers and obedience. I spent most of my summer holidays as a child walking my neighbour’s dogs over the south downs and the beach which I loved.
Most of my working life has revolved around dogs such as working in the pet trade vets and dog day care. I have run my own puppy/ dog training classes for the last 30years and up until recently my own agility classes for around 15 years.
I now run Hooper dog training classes which is a new low impact fun dog sport for all dogs and handlers of any age.
I’m a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist (DipCOAPE) and an ACAI agility instructor. I’ve taken numerous training course in dog behaviour/ training and also, I’m a qualified canine first Aider.
Staff – We have a team of dedicated staff that have over 16 years’ experience between them working with dogs in the areas of day care, grooming, boarding, pet sitting. They are also canine first aiders have also studied diplomas in animal care and management, grooming, canine body language, animal phycology and animal science.
